HP Omen 17t-cm200 Gaming and Entertainment Laptop
When thinking about gaming laptop brands, I think of ASUS, MSI, Sager, Alienware, just to name a few. One brand I don’t usually think about is HP. So, the HP Omen 17t-cm200 Gaming and Entertainment Laptop is kind of like a diamond in the rough. I wasn’t expecting to find it, but once I did, its power, features, and specs were undeniably competitive with the mainstays in the gaming laptop market.
Included in my article on the Best Laptop For Mom, the HP Omen 17t-cm200 is one of the more expensive options, but every dollar is spent on performance. With all the latest and greatest features and hardware, it is sure to please.

HP Omen 17t-cm200 Impressions
My first impression looking at the HP Omen 17t-cm200 left me thinking that it is pretty plain and simple. That’s perfect for me, but I know a lot of people like something a little more flashy with different RGB options and more creative overall design. So, let the buyer choose his or her preference there. I actually prefer the simpler designs. The RGB options on my personal gaming desktop are all turned off. I’d rather see the games in all their glory than have the distracting light of the machine running them in my face.
Aside from the aesthetics, there is no denying the power of the HP Omen 17t-cm200. With the powerful i9 processor and top of the line RTX 4090, you can’t go wrong. Add the 64GB DDR5 RAM and you’re looking at a gaming laptop that will be relevant for several years to come. The 1TB SSD kind of surprised me, though. At this price point, I would have expected more storage. With that being my only complaint, I’d be happy to recommend this laptop to anyone that understands and needs the power it offers, so long as they have the budget to cover it.
